Police Officer and Several People Injured after Litchfield Park Three-Car Crash on Dysart Road

PHOENIX, AZ (July 14, 2020) — An Avondale police officer was hurt following a three-car crash in the West Valley on Monday, July 13.

The crash took place near Dysart Road and Indian School Road in Litchfield Park at about 8:40 a.m.

Medical responders brought the officer to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Several other people were also hurt, some of them seriously. Paramedics transported them to local hospitals, police said.

The identity of the officer was not available.

Authorities closed the intersection for further investigation, as impairment contributed to this accident.
