Man Found Dead in Parked Semi Truck on Main Street [HESPERIA, CA]

Truck Driver Discovered Deceased Inside Semi on Main Street in Hesperia

 
HESPERIA, CA (July 11, 2020) – A male truck driver was found dead inside a parked semi truck late Saturday afternoon in Hesperia.
 
The discovery happened around 5:00 p.m. in a dirt lot behind a Chevron gas station in the 12100 block of Main Street. Sheriff’s officials said the deceased man was found in a white semi.
 
The coroner showed up just before 8:00 p.m. to retrieve the body. They did not release the identity of the deceased pending notification of next of kin.
 
A sign on the side of the semi indicated that the truck was leased to Kordun Express Inc. based out of Bensenville, IL. The company operates 190 power untis and employs 190 drivers.
 
It is still unclear how long the tractor-trailer had been parked there. However, foul play is not suspected.
 
Further investigation is underway.
