45-Year-Old Man Killed in Car Crash on West 52nd Street [LOS ANGELES, CA]

Fatal Crash on West 52nd Street in Vermont Square Area of Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, CA (July 13, 2020) – A 45-year-old man was killed in a car accident Monday afternoon in the Vermont Square area of Los Angeles, authorities said.
The crash happened around 5:00 p.m. at 1960 West 52nd Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was driving his vehicle when he crashed it into a tree for unknown reasons.
Responding paramedics rushed the man to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, officials said.
The coroner’s office did not release the identity of the deceased pending notification of his family members.
It is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
CHP officials are still investigating the crash to determine the exact cause.
