Pedestrian Injured in Hit-and-Run on Highway 99 near 148th Street [LYNNWOOD, WA]

Man Hospitalized Following Lynnwood Pedestrian Hit-and-Run Crash

 
LYNNWOOD, WA (July 10, 2020) – A 37-year-old man sustained injuries in a hit-and-run collision on Highway 99 near 148th Street Southwest in Lynnwood on Friday.
 
The Washington State Patrol did not release the name of the pedestrian. They said he is a resident of Everett.
 
Based on an initial investigation, the man was crossing Highway 99 when a car struck him.
 
The troopers said the pedestrian was in a crosswalk near 148th Street Southwest. The car had the right of way.
 
However, the driver of the car did not stop and render aid to the pedestrian. The vehicle was last seen headed north on Highway 99.
 
Meantime, the Everett man was taken to Providence Hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
 
At this time, there was no available information on whether the hit-and-run suspect and vehicle have been located. The investigation of the incident is ongoing.
