Off-Road Crash on Pennsylvania Avenue in Colton Kills One

 
COLTON, CA (July 11, 2020) – A man was killed following an off-road crash Saturday afternoon on paved surface streets in Colton.
 
The crash happened around 3:27 p.m. along the 2100 block of Pennsylvania Avenue near Mill Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was riding an off-road vehicle when he collided into a parked car.
 
Responding officers found the man lying in the roadway and suffering from blunt force trauma. They rushed him to a hospital, where he later died.
 
Authorities did not release the identity of the victim pending notification of his family members.
 
Colton police said the vehicle the man was riding was not equipped with any safety restraints.
 
An investigation into this fatal crash is ongoing to determine the factors involved.
