Bicyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run on Basin Avenue at Petrack Park [PAHRUMP, NV]

Hit-and-Run Driver Struck and Killed Bicyclist in Pahrump

 
PAHRUMP, NV (July 10, 2020) — A bicyclist lost their life in a hit-and-run crash on Basin Avenue at Petrack Park in Pahrump Friday night.
 
The incident took place at about 10:00 p.m. based on the reports from the Nye County Sheriff’s Office.
 
At this time, the cause and circumstances leading up to the crash were not clear. The deputies have not released the identity of the cyclist. In addition, there is not description of the suspect driver or vehicle.
 
Officials are conducting further investigation to track down the hit-and-run driver and vehicle.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities closed Basin Road while they investigated and crews worked to clear the scene. The roadway reopened following the cleanup.
