Julie Arellano Killed in Three-Vehicle Crash on Highway 74 [LAKE ELSINORE, CA]

Woman Dies in Lake Elsinore Crash on Highway 74 at Riverside Street

 
LAKE ELSINORE, CA (July 11, 2020) – A woman was killed following a three-vehicle crash Saturday morning in Lake Elsinore, authorities said.
 
The crash happened around 6:45 a.m. on Highway 74 at Riverside Drive.
 
CHP officials did not provide details of how the crash occurred, but firefighters cut one occupant out of the wreckage. That patient was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
The Riverside County coroner’s office identified the victim as 28-year-old Julie Cruz Arellano, a Lake Elsinore resident.
 
A second patient was evaluated by paramedics but declined additional treatment, Cal Fire said.
 
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash and factors involved.
