Driver Dies after Crashing into Tree on El Prado Road at Pine Avenue
CHINO, CA (July 5, 2020) – A motorist who died in a car crash early Sunday morning last week in Chino has been identified by authorities.
The crash happened around 4:58 a.m. on El Prado Road at Pine Avenue.
According the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle went off the roadway for unknown reasons and crashed into a tree.
Deputies arrived on the site and found the driver with fatal injuries. They pronounced him dead at the scene.
The coroner’s office later identified the victim as Josue De Franco, 34, of Chino.
It is unclear if speed, drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash. The Chino Police Department is conducting their investigation.
