Star Baggett-Porter Arrested after Three-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101

 
SANTA ROSA, CA (July 9, 2020) – Authorities arrested an Arizona woman following a DUI crash on Highway 101 that injured a Rohnert Park man, Thursday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 7:10 AM. A 2013 Chevrolet Impala was northbound in the left lane when it slammed into the rear of a 2014 Toyota Tacoma. The impact of the crash caused the Toyota to hit a third vehicle, a 2003 Nissan Frontier.
 
As per reports, both pickup trucks rolled over, while the Toyota continued past the edge of the freeway and plunged down an embankment.
 
Emergency responders transported the Nissan driver, identified as 40-year-old Ebodio Osorio Castro, to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Meanwhile, the Toyota driver, 37-year-old Luis Orea Ortiz, did not sustain injuries.
 
Authorities later arrested the Chevrolet driver, identified as 31-year-old Star Baggett-Porter, on suspicion of DUI. She was booked into the Sonoma County Jail on $100,000 bail. In addition, she’s scheduled to appear before a judge Monday afternoon.
