Two Killed, One Injured after Tucson Car Crash

 
TUCSON, AZ (July 9, 2020) – Two people are dead and one injured in a two-car accident in central Tucson at 2:07 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7.
 
According to the Tucson Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of Broadway Boulevard and Tucson Boulevard.
 
The two people on the same vehicle died at the time of the collision. Medics rushed the driver of the second car to the hospital with serious injuries, police stated.
 
Police said excessive speed appeared to be a factor in this incident.
 
The intersection reopened just after 8:30 a.m. However, there is no other information available.
