Pedestrian Injured after Las Vegas Hit-and-Run Crash

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (July 9, 2020) — A pedestrian was hurt following a hit-and-run on Charleston Boulevard, east of Las Vegas Boulevard on Monday, July 6.
 
According to police, at around 10:45 p.m., a 2019 Kia Soul moved west on Charleston, approaching Las Vegas Boulevard. Then it veered off the road and onto a sidewalk where a pedestrian was walking.
 
The car went onto the sidewalk before it slammed into a street-light pole and struck the pedestrian.
 
The driver of the Kia did not stop and continued moving west. The unidentified driver then stopped, went out of the car, and fled on foot.
 
Paramedics rushed the pedestrian to the University Medical Center trauma unit. Police said he remains in critical condition.
 
Detectives urge the public for help in identifying and finding the location of the driver of the 2019 Kia Soul.
