35-Year-Old Tiffany Shaw Dies after DUI Crash near Tucson International Airport

 
TUCSON, AZ (July 3, 2020) – Authorities identified 35-year-old Tiffany Marie Shaw as the driver killed in a DUI crash near Tucson International Airport, late Friday evening.
 
According to the Tucson Police Department, the incident happened at about 10:30 PM. Shaw was attempting to turn left from eastbound Valencia Road when a speeding westbound car slammed into her vehicle on South Nogales Highway.
 
Emergency crews pronounced Shaw dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital.
 
Detectives believe that the driver of the speeding vehicle was impaired. However, no charges or citations have been issued yet. Investigators also added that Shaw was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision.
