Deadly Motorcycle Crash on Grand Avenue in Lake Elsinore
LAKE ELSINORE, CA (July 7, 2020) – One person was killed following a motorcycle crash Tuesday afternoon in Lake Elsinore.
The crash happened around 4:17 p.m. at 15996 Grand Avenue, just east of Highway 74.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Toyota Camry collided with the motorcycle for unknown reasons. The impact caused significant injuries on the motorcycle rider.
Arriving units pronounced the rider dead at the scene.
The coroner’s office did not release the identity of the victim pending next of kin notification.
It is unclear if speed, drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash. An investigation into the incident is underway.
