Woman Injured after Pedestrian Hit-and-Run Accident in Oildale

 
OILDALE, CA (July 5, 2020) – A female pedestrian sustained injuries in a hit-and-run on Roberts Lane early Sunday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 2:00 AM. A woman was walking southbound on Roberts Lane when a vehicle struck her near Plymouth Avenue.
 
Emergency responders transported the woman to a local hospital for treatment of major injuries. However, the driver of the vehicle did not stop to render aid and immediately fled the area.
 
Witnesses described the suspect vehicle as a white sedan. Anyone with additional information should call CHP at (661) 827-5400 as soon as possible. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
