Justin Leath Killed in Head-On Crash on 90th Street East [PALMDALE, CA]
Deadly Head-On Crash at 90th Street East and Palmdale Boulevard
PALMDALE, CA (July 2, 2020) – A man who died in a head-on crash Thursday last week in Palmdale has been identified.
The crash happened around 6:25 p.m. near 90th Street East and Palmdale Boulevard.
Justin Leath, 20, of Palmdale was driving a 2014 Hyundai eastbound on Palmdale Boulevard. For unknown reasons, he veered into the westbound lane and collided head-on into a westbound 2020 Toyota.
The impact involved a 2021 Hyundai that was heading west on Palmdale Boulevard behind the Toyota.
Leath and the female driver in the Toyota died at the scene.
Meanwhile, five others were injured, two of them suffered major injuries. Paramedics transported them to Antelope Valley Hospital for proper treatment.
CHP officials are still trying to determine if drugs and/or alcohol were contributing factors in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
