Cody McDowell Fatally Injured after Reno Motorcycle Crash on North Virginia Street
RENO, NV (July 7, 2020) — The Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office identified Cody McDowell as the man killed in a motorcycle crash in Reno.
The collision took place on North Virginia Street at McCarran Boulevard about 8:23 p.m. on Friday, July 3.
The Reno Police Department said McDowell rode a Triumph motorcycle that collided into a GMC Yukon.
Officials said McDowell, 40, of Sparks, died on the scene.
The Yukon driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police. Police said intoxication was not a factor but speed was.
The investigation about the crash is still underway.
