Tori Haywood Dead in Multi-Car Crash on Palmdale Boulevard [Palmdale, CA]

Tori Haywood and Another Driver Killed, Five Injured Palmdale Car Accident

 
PALMDALE, CA (July 6, 2020) – Two drivers, one identified as 42-year-old Tori Ann Haywood died after a multi-car crash on Thursday, July 2.
 
According to CHP, the crash happened around 6:20 p.m. on Palmdale Boulevard east of 80th Street East.
 
A 20-year-old Palmdale man drove a 2014 Hyundai eastbound on Palmdale Boulevard. Then it veered into the westbound lane and caused a head-on crash with a westbound 2020 Toyota.
 
As a result of the incident, a second collision happened involving a 2021 Hyundai that moved westbound on Palmdale Boulevard behind the Toyota.
 
The unidentified driver of the 2014 Hyundai died at the scene. CHP report only described him as a 20-year-old man from Palmdale. His female passenger, 20-year-old M.N. Ankenbrandt of Lancaster, had major injuries.
 
The driver of the 2020 Toyota also died at the scene. Officer identified her as Haywood of Smithville, Tenn.
 
The passenger in the Toyota, 18-year-old Tyjhai Ladet of Smithville, Tenn. had major injuries. Three other passengers in the Toyota — 18-year-old Sierra Ladet, 18-year-old Tyzjon Ladet, and 18-year-old Tre Lamar Ladet, all from Smithville, Tenn. — had moderate injuries.
 
Paramedic rushed all injured parties to Antelope Valley Hospital for treatment.
 
The driver of the 2021 Hyundai, 21-year-old Tia Perkins of McMinnville, Tenn., was not hurt in the crash.
