Joshua Burbank Arrested, 2 Injured in DUI Accident on Highway 89 [GRAY MOUNTAIN, AZ]

Driver Charged with DUI Following Highway 89 Crash near Gray Mountain

 
GRAY MOUNTAIN, AZ (July 4, 2020) – A DUI accident on Highway 89 Wednesday afternoon led to the arrest of 25-year-old Joshua Burbank of Chinle.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, Burbank was driving a Dodge Journey northbound on the highway at past 12 noon. A few miles south of Gray Mountain, he crossed the double-yellow center line and then collided with a southbound Penske moving truck and a pickup truck.
 
Two people from the southbound vehicles sustained serious injuries and were transported to Flagstaff Medical Center. Their names have not been made public.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities arrested then booked Joshua James Burbank into the Coconino County Jail for aggravated assault and driving under the influence.
 
This crash remains under investigation.
