Fatal Broadside Crash at Stockton Boulevard and Lindale Drive

FLORIN, CA (July 4, 2020) – At least one person died following a broadside crash Saturday afternoon in Florin, authorities said.

The crash happened around 2:47 p.m. at the intersection of Stockton Boulevard and Lindale Drive, just near Wells Fargo Bank.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray sedan and a maroon sedan were in involved, one of them broadsided the other.

Deputies arrived on the scene and confirmed at least one fatality as a result of the crash. They did not release the identity of the victim pending notification of next of kin.

It is unclear if there were other injuries sustained.

It is also unknown if drugs and/or alcohol were contributing factors in the crash.

CHP officials are still investigating the incident to determine the cause and liability.
