Jose Aguirre Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Foothill Boulevard [FONTANA, CA]

Rider Dies after Crash with Car at Foothill Boulevard and Beech Avenue

 
FONTANA, CA (July 1, 2020) – A man was killed following a motorcycle crash Wednesday evening in Fontana, police said.
 
The crash happened around 9:47 p.m. at Foothill Boulevard and Beech Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Suzuki motorcycle was traveling westbound on Foothill Boulevard, approaching Beech Avenue. A Nissan Altima was also heading in the same direction.
 
The Nissan then turned left in front of the motorcycle. The rider was unable to avoid striking the right side of the Nissan.
 
The impact of the crash caused severe injuries on the rider. Paramedics rushed him to Kaiser Foundation Hospital-Fontana, where he died while undergoing treatment.
 
Coroner’s officials identified the victim as Jose Martin Aguirre, 38, of Fontana.
 
The driver of the Nissan stopped on scene and cooperated with authorities.
 
The Fontana Police Department is investigating the incident.
