Motorcyclist Killed, 1 Injured in Bus Collision on Osborn Road and Third Avenue [PHOENIX, AZ]

1 Killed, 1 Injured in Motorcycle Versus Bus Collision in Phoenix

 
PHOENIX, AZ (July 2, 2020) – A man died while another person sustained injuries in a bus collision on Osborn Road and Third Avenue Tuesday morning.
 
The Phoenix police responded to the crash at about 11:00 a.m. After that, police found a motorcycle and a private bus involved in the incident.
 
An initial investigation revealed that the bus was making a left turn onto Third Avenue when it collided with the motorcycle coming from the opposite direction of traffic.
 
The motorcycle rider died at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet according to the police.
 
A passenger on the bus suffered injuries and was taken to the hospital.
 
Meantime, the investigators said that there were no indications that impairment played a factor in the crash. However, they are conducting a further probe on the case.
