1 Killed, 1 Injured in Reno Motorcycle Accident
RENO, NV (July 2, 2020) – A 39-year-old man died in a motorcycle accident near Kietzke Lane and Taylor Street Monday night in Reno.
According to the Reno police, the motorcyclist collided with another vehicle at about 6:22 p.m.
The officers and paramedics found the man down on the roadway and unresponsive. Despite their life-saving efforts, the motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The police said the driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated in the investigation. The driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The officials had northbound and southbound lanes of Kietzke closed between Miami Way and Roberts Street during the initial investigation. All lanes reopened at 10:40 p.m. on Monday.
