3 Injured, Driver Arrested in DUI Accident on Highway 14 [NEWHALL, CA]

Driver Injured and Arrested after DUI Single-Vehicle Crash in Newhall

 
NEWHALL, CA (July 1, 2020) – The authorities are investigating a DUI accident on Highway 14 that happened Tuesday early morning in Newhall.
 
The Los Angeles County Fire Department received reports about the incident at about 12:00 a.m. south of Newhall Avenue. When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found a vehicle with smoke coming out of it. It ended up on its side after going over the rail.
 
Paramedics transported the woman driving the vehicle and two passengers to a hospital for treatment of various injuries.
 
The California Highway Patrol said there were no other vehicles involved in the crash. The officers also said that there were signs of impairment on the driver’s part. They arrested her and then released her at the hospital.
