Megan Hill Injured, Samuel Santoya Arrested after DUI Crash

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (July 1, 2020) — A DUI crash in the 14900 block of 7th Street near Victor Street left 33-year-old Megan Hill injured on Friday, June 26.
 
The crash happened just before 10 p.m. when Samuel Santoya, a resident of Hesperia, drove a 2002 silver Honda Civic. Then he crashed into the back of a 2020 Toyota Camry and left the female driver injured.
 
Deputies from the Victorville station arrived at the scene and found out Santoya was under the influence of alcohol. They arrested and booked him at the High Desert Detention Center for DUI.
 
The female driver of the Camry identified as Megan Hill sustained back, neck, and head pain. First responders helped her out of the vehicle and rushed her to a local hospital.
 
According to jail records, Santoya is still in custody and is being held on several charges. It includes driving without a driver’s license, DUI, and battery on a person. The battery charge is from a 2012 case out of Hesperia. His combined total bail is set at $400,000.
