Rider Fatally Struck by Vehicle at Gerber and Elk Grove Florin Roads

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (June 28, 2020) – A man died in a motorcycle crash Sunday in Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
 
The crash happened at the intersection of Gerber Road and Elk Grove Florin Road. The exact time the incident occurred was not immediately available.
 
CHP officials said a motorcycle rider was struck by a vehicle in an unclear circumstances. The impact sent the rider onto the roadway.
 
Paramedics arrived and pronounced the rider dead at the scene.
 
The coroner’s office later identified the victim as 30-year-old Derrick Price.
