30-Year-Old Marlin Moreland Dies after Motorcycle Accident in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS, NV (June 27, 2020) – Authorities identified 30-year-old Marlin Moreland of Las Vegas as the motorcyclist killed in a crash, Saturday afternoon.
According to the North Las Vegas Police Department, the incident happened at about 1:00 PM. A westbound sedan made a left-hand turn onto Martin Luther King Boulevard. Then, a northbound motorcycle slammed into the driver’s side door near June Avenue.
Emergency crews rushed Moreland to University Medical Center, where he later died. As per reports, his cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries. Authorities ruled his death a homicide.

The driver of the sedan remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
North Las Vegas police continue to investigate the fatal crash. Investigators ask witnesses to call them at (702) 633-9111. Those who wish to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
