Bicyclist Airlifted After Colliding with Tow Truck in Mead

 
MEAD, WA (June 30, 2020) – A bicyclist suffered serious injuries in a collision on Highway 206 at Halliday Road in Mead on Friday.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, a man was riding his bicycle when a tow truck rear-ended him. He was unconscious when troopers and paramedics arrived at the scene.
 
The officials requested an air ambulance to airlift the bicyclist to Sacred Heart. He was in serious condition, they said.
 
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time. The names of those involved have also not been made public. The crash is still under investigation.
