2 Die in Easton Two-Car Collision on 90 Freeway

 
KITTITAS COUNTY, WA (June 30, 2020) — Two people lost their lives in a car accident on 90 Freeway in the Easton area Monday morning.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, there were two cars involved in the crash that happened in the eastbound lanes of the highway. The vehicles collided at about 8:45 a.m.
 
The troopers confirmed two people died in the crash. However, they did not disclose the names of the victims.
 
Exit 70 closed while the troopers investigated and crews cleaned up the scene of debris and damaged vehicles.
 
Meantime, the officials said the causing driver is in custody for vehicular homicide. The cause and circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
