BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 26, 2020) – A pedestrian sustained injuries following an accident on Baker Street, Friday evening.
 
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the incident happened at about 10:00 PM. Due to unknown circumstances, a vehicle struck the pedestrian near Chico Street.
 
Emergency responders later transported the victim to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
