Motorcyclist Injured After Colliding with Semi-Truck at Koala Road and Vintage Road [ADELANTO, CA]

Rider Airlifted Following Motorcycle Accident in Adelanto

ADELANTO, CA (June 29, 2020) — A motorcyclist was injured after colliding with a semi-truck at Koala Road and Vintage Road in Adelanto Thursday afternoon.

According to the authorities, the motorcyclist was riding a 2005 Harley-Davidson Road Glide when they collided with a double-trailer semi at about 1:30 p.m.

First responders requested a helicopter to take the rider to a trauma center. They took the rider to a nearby landing zone where an H325 med-flight helicopter then airlifted the rider to Loma Linda University Medical Center.

Meanwhile, the driver of the semi pulled over along Koala Road, north of Vintage Road. The driver did not report any injuries and cooperated with law enforcement.

The crash remains under investigation by the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station.
