Amarpreet Singh Sall Killed in Bicycle Hit-and-Run Crash on Whitesbridge Avenue [FRESNO, CA]

Bicyclist Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver at Whitesbridge and Hughes Avenues

 
FRESNO, CA (June 20, 2020) – A bicyclist who died in a hit-and-run crash Saturday last week in southwest Fresno has been identified as Amarpreet Singh Sall, 37, of Del Rey.
 
The crash happened around 4:30 a.m. on June 20, at the intersection of Whitesbridge Avenue and Hughes Avenue.
 
According to the CHP, Singh Sall was riding his bicycle eastbound on Whitesbridge Avenue in the bicycle lane. For unknown reasons, an eastbound vehicle rear-ended him.
 
Responding paramedics rushed Singh Sall to Community Regional Medical Center, where he later died.
 
Meanwhile, the driver involved fled the scene without rendering aid. Police described the suspect’s car as a 2013-2017 white Honda Accord.
 
The vehicle has damage to the right front light assembly, right side mirror and passenger side windshield.
 
An investigation into this fatal incident is ongoing.
