1 Killed, 2 Seriously Injured in Head-On Crash on Highway 94 [Dulzura, CA]

Fatal Head-On Crash on Highway 94 near Community Building Road

 
DULZURA, CA (June 27, 2020) – One person died and two others sustained injuries in a head-on crash on Highway 94, Saturday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 6:35 AM. Due to unknown circumstances, two vehicles collided head-on near Community Building Road.
 
Emergency crews later pronounced one person dead at the scene. Authorities withheld the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin.
 
Two other victims sustained serious injuries. One victim was airlifted, while a ground ambulance transported the second victim to a hospital. Updates on the victims’ current conditions remain undisclosed.
 
Officers temporarily closed affected areas until 11:30 AM to make way for clearing operations and an investigation.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the fatal crash. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
