Kenneth Clingman Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Temescal Canyon Road [CORONA, CA]

78-Year-Old Corona Man Struck and Killed by Vehicle on Temescal Canyon Road near 15 Freeway

 
CORONA, CA (June 26, 2020) – A man was killed in a pedestrian crash late Friday afternoon in Corona, authorities said.
 
The crash happened around 5:40 p.m. on Temescal Canyon Road, just east of 15 Freeway.
 
CHP official did not provide details of how the crash occurred, but the pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
The Riverside County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Kenneth Clingman, 78, of Corona.
 
It is unknown if the driver that struck Clingman remained or fled the scene.
 
No additional information was provided at this time.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved is still under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
