62-Year-Old Woman Killed in Rollover Crash at Fairview Road and Fallon Road [HOLLISTER, CA]
Morning Rollover Crash at Fairview and Fallon Roads Kills One and Injures Two
HOLLISTER, CA (June 25, 2020) – A female passenger was killed following a rollover crash Thursday morning in Hollister.
The crash happened around 5:05 a.m. on Fairview Road, just north of Fallon Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan was traveling north on Fairview Road when it made an unsafe turn to the left. It then veered off the west side of the road and overturned.
As a result, the female passenger in the Dodge suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. The San Benito County Coroner’s Office only identified her as a 62-year-old Los Banos woman. They will release her name once it has been confirmed and her family members are properly notified.
A second passenger, a 39-year-old man, suffered moderate injuries. Paramedics took him to Regional Medical Center in San Jose for treatment.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Dodge only sustained minor injuries.
CHP officials did not rule out drugs and alcohol as factors in the crash, which remains under investigation. They asked anyone with further information to contact the CHP Officer A. Jimenez at 408-848-2324.
