Woman Injured in Hit-and-Run Accident on Friars Road [San Diego, CA]

Woman Hurt in Hit-and-Run Accident on Friars Road and Frazee Road

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (June 26, 2020) – Police are looking for the suspected driver involved in a hit-and-run accident on Friars Road on Wednesday, June 24.
 
San Diego police Officer Robert Heims said the collision happened before 5:30 p.m. at the intersection of Friars and Frazee roads.
 
A 60-year-old woman drove a 2007 Lexus sedan southbound on Frazee Road. Then a man driving a blue Ford pickup truck westbound on Friars Road ran a red light at Frazee. The Ford crashed into the driver’s side of the Lexus, Heims stated.
 
The officer said The pickup driver kept moving, then pulled over a short distance away before he went out and ran away. No detailed description of the driver was immediately released.
 
Medics rushed the victim to a hospital for treatment of multiple fractures, which were not life-threatening, Heims stated.
