LAS VEGAS, NV (June 26, 2020) — The police are investigating a fatal accident on Charleston Boulevard that took place on private property in Las Vegas Tuesday morning.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, the incident happened past 4:15 a.m. Reports indicated that a vehicle hit and killed a pedestrian in the 1700 block of Charleston Boulevard near Bruce Street.

The police confirmed that a suspect was in custody. However, they did not give out additional details. They also did not release the name of the suspect and the victim.

LVMPD’s fatal detail is investigating what caused the crash and how it happened.
