Man Dead after Rollover Accident on Durango Drive [Las Vegas, NV]

Man Killed in Las Vegas Rollover Accident on Durango Drive and Patrick Lane

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (June 26, 2020) – A 35-year-old man died following a rollover accident on Durango Drive on Wednesday, June 24.
 
According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, the crash occurred around 12:30 a.m. on South Durango Drive and West Patrick Lane.
 
Police stated a 2005 Honda S2000 convertible and a 2012 Volkwagen Jetta moved westbound on Durango. For unknown reasons, Honda entered the same lane.
 
Officials said both vehicles crossed the intersection at Patrick Lane before exiting the roadway on the right. Both vehicles slammed into a brick wall while rotating. Police said the Jetta rolled over and struck the top of the Honda and its driver.
 
The driver and passenger of the Jetta remained at the scene and didn’t show signs of intoxication. Police said the driver of the Honda had injuries beyond medical treatment and died dead at the scene.
 
The incident is the 45th traffic-related fatality in LVMPD’s jurisdiction for 2020. The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased once they have notified the next of kin.
