78-Year-Old Earlawin Beebe Hospitalized Following Motorcycle Accident in Randle

RANDLE, WA (June 25, 2020) – The authorities identified 78-year-old Earlawin Beebe of Centralia as the person injured in a motorcycle accident on Highway 12 Friday afternoon.
The Washington State Patrol reported that the crash happened near Bennett Road and mile marker 124 at around 1:15 p.m.
76-year-old Daniel Beebe of Centralia was operating a 2016 Harley-Davidson FLTRU westbound on Highway 12, with Earlawin Beebe as a passenger. They were behind a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox that was hauling a motorhome driven by 68-year-old Walter L. Engle of Elma.

The crash remains under investigation.
When driving, it is important to keep an eye out for motorcyclists. Check all your mirrors and blind spots for motorcycles before merging with traffic or changing lanes, especially at intersections. Also, allow more following distance when behind a motorcycle. This gives them more time to react or stop in case of an emergency. If you are a motorcyclist, do not underestimate the bike’s speed. Use hand and turn signals when you change lane or turn. For better visibility, wear brightly colored clothes and reflective tape.
