Vehicle Overturns after Avoiding Suspected Hit-and-Run Driver on 580 Freeway

 
RENO, NV (June 23, 2020) – Authorities continue to search for a suspected hit-and-run driver following a rollover crash on 580 Freeway, Tuesday morning.
 
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 7:30 AM. A dark grey SUV reportedly attempted an unsafe lane change. To avoid a collision, a northbound silver Saturn hit the median. The impact caused the Saturn to rollover near Damonte Ranch Parkway.
 
The driver of the Saturn, fortunately, did not sustain injuries in the crash. However, the driver of the SUV did not stop after the incident.
 
NHP described the driver of the SUV as a woman in her early to mid-30s with dirty blonde or brown hair. Anyone with additional information can call Nevada Highway Patrol and reference case #200601302. Authorities will release more details once they become available.
