Jeanna Pryor Killed in Head-On Crash on Highway 29 [AMERICAN CANYON, CA]

Francisco Santos-Diaz Injured in Fatal Head-On Crash on Highway 29 near Kimberly Drive

 
AMERICAN CANYON, CA (June 22, 2020) – A woman died following a head-on crash Monday in American Canyon, authorities said.
 
The crash happened on Highway 29 near Kimberly Drive.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a silver Toyota pickup truck was traveling southbound on Highway 29 when it lost control for unknown reasons. It then crossed the dirt median into northbound lanes and collided head-on with a white Toyota pickup truck.
 
The driver of the silver Toyota, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle. Paramedics rushed her to Queen of the Valley Medical Center, where she later died.
 
The Napa County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office identified the woman as Jeanna Estelle Pryor, 47, of American Canyon.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the white Toyota sustained moderate injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital, police said. They identified him as Francisco Santos-Diaz, 35, of Vallejo.
 
CHP officials are still investigating the cause of the crash.
