Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Ventura Road [Oxnard, CA]

One Dead in Motorcycle Crash on Ventura Road and Gonzalez Road

 
OXNARD, CA (June 25, 2020) – A fatal motorcycle crash on Ventura Road claimed the life of one person in Oxnard around 4:40 p.m. Wednesday, June 24.
 
Officers found out that a 2007 Honda motorcycle moved southbound on Ventura Road from Gonzales Road. Then it crashed with 2015 Toyota Prius who was turning left onto Anna way from northbound Ventura Road.
 
The driver of the Toyota Prius, identified as a 27-year-old female of Oxnard, had minor injuries. She remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigating officers.
 
First responders provided first aid and life-saving measures to the motorcyclist. Then they and transported him to Ventura County Medical Center where he died.
 
Officials temporarily closed the traffic on the southbound side of Ventura Road at the intersection of Gonzalez Road.
 
The Oxnard Traffic Unit is still investigating the incident.
