Rider Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Boulder Highway near Lowery Street [HENDERSON, NV]

1 Killed in Collision Involving Motorcycle and Pickup Truck in Henderson

 
HENDERSON, NV (June 23, 2020) — A 27-year-old motorcycle rider died in an accident on Boulder Highway near Lowery Street Sunday afternoon in Henderson.
 
The incident also involved a pickup truck, according to the Henderson police. The motorcyclist was riding a sportbike northbound on the highway when the pickup made a left turn into the path of the motorcycle.
 
The bike crashed into the pickup truck. The rider died at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and cooperated in the investigation.
 
The police said there were no indications that impairment played a role in the crash. There was no word, however, whether charges have been filed.
 
The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release the name of the motorcyclist after notifying the victim’s family.
