James Fowler Arrested after DUI Accident on Thunderbird Road [Apple Valley, CA]

James Fowler Arrested in Suspected DUI Accident

 
APPLE VALLEY, CA (June 24, 2020) — Authorities arrested 46-year-old James Fowler after his son was injured in a DUI truck crash on Monday, June 22.
 
According to authorities, three occupants of the truck — Fowler, his 22-year-old son, and a 15-year-old son — had all been drinking on Monday.
 
The accident happened just before 1:30 a.m. as the trio traveled westbound on Thunderbird Road.
 
Alban said the 22-year-old rode in the truck’s bed. Then he tried to enter the cab while Fowler drives with the 15-year-old as a passenger.
 
The 22-year-old then fell out of the truck. He landed in the roadway near Thunderbird Road and Cheyenne Road.
 
A vehicle, moving in the opposite direction, did not notice the subject in the roadway and struck him.
 
Medics airlifted the 22-year-old to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. His condition was not yet determined as of Tuesday afternoon.
 
Officials released the 15-year-old to his mother.
 
Officials arrested the James Fowler. They booked him on suspicion of driving under the influence and causing bodily injury.
