Sergio Montes Killed after San Francisco Pedestrian Accident
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (June 23, 2020) — A pedestrian identified as 63-year-old Richmond resident Sergio Montes died in a crash on Thursday, June 18.
Shortly after 7:00 a.m., officers rushed to a report of an accident involving a pedestrian near the corner of Dwight Street and San Bruno Avenue.
There, they discovered Montes and rushed him to the hospital with critical injuries.
Montes later died to his injuries at the hospital, officials stated.
The driver who struck the victim stayed at the scene and cooperated with police. Investigators don’t believe intoxication was a factor in the incident.
