Asa Graham, Valery Blood Killed in Accident on Highway 89 [Cameron, AZ]

Valery Blood, Asa Graham Identified in Cameron Crash on Highway 89

 
CAMERON, AZ (June 19, 2020) – Authorities identified 21-year-old Asa Graham from Henderson, Nevada and 45-year-old Valery Blood of Durango, Colorado as the victims killed in an accident on Highway 89, Friday afternoon.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the incident happened at about 4:07 PM. Due to unknown reasons, a southbound silver Chevy Malibu, driven by Graham, crossed the centerline. Then, it collided head-on with a northbound white Chevy Silverado.
 
Emergency responders pronounced Graham and a passenger in the Silverado, Blood, dead at the scene.
 
Paramedics later transported the Silverado driver, identified as a 23-year-old man from Durango, and a 16-year-old female passenger to Flagstaff Medical Center with serious injuries. As per reports, they are expected to survive.
 
DPS continues to investigate the cause of the fatal crash. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
