SLOUGHHOUSE, CA (June 20, 2020) – A man who died in a motorcycle crash Saturday morning has been identified as Patrick Gerard McNamara, 60, of Sacramento.
The crash happened around 10:50 a.m. on Ione Road near Meiss Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, McNamara was riding his motorcycle on the roadway when for unknown reasons, he collided head-on with a dark-colored sedan.
McNamara suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
Officials temporarily closed the roadway as they examined the scene.
An investigation into this fatal crash is ongoing.
