Jacob Harr Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Carbon Canyon Road [CHINO HILLS, CA]

Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash on Carbon Canyon Road near Rosemary Lane

 
CHINO HILLS, CA (June 18, 2020) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash Thursday evening in Chino Hills, police said.
 
The crash happened around 9:37 p.m. on Carbon Canyon Road, also known as Highway 142, near Rosemary Lane.
 
According to Chino Hills Police Department, the man was walking in the middle of the roadway when a car struck him. The driver of the car took off after the crash without rendering aid.
 
Emergency crews arrived and attempted life-saving efforts, but the man died at the scene.
 
The victim was identified as Jacob Harr, 28, of Chino Hills.
 
Deputies did not release the description of the driver, or what make and model car the suspect was driving.
 
The fatal crash is still under investigation. The Sheriff’s Department asked any witnesses to call deputies at 909-364-2000.
