2 Hospitalized after Rollover Crash on 580 Freeway near Mill Street

 
RENO, NV (June 15, 2020) – Two people sustained injuries in a rollover accident on 580 Freeway, Monday afternoon.
 
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the incident happened shortly after noon. For reasons still unknown, an Infiniti SUV crashed near Mill Street. The impact of the crash trapped the driver and a passenger inside the SUV.
 
Fire crew from the Reno Fire Department extricated two people from the wreck. Then, they were transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
 
NHP temporarily closed affected areas for over an hour to make way for clearing operations.
 
Officers continue to investigate the crash. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
