Minor Injuries Sustained in Car Crash on Highway 168 in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (June 17, 2020) – Minor injuries were sustained in a car accident on Highway 168, Wednesday afternoon.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 1:45 PM. Due to unknown circumstances, a speeding blue Ford sedan and another unidentified vehicle collided near Ashlan Avenue.
 
As per reports, both drivers sustained minor injuries. However, it is unknown whether or not they needed hospitalization.
 
Officers temporarily closed the westbound freeway lanes for clearing operations.
 
Investigators reported that both drivers were unlicensed. CHP continues to investigate the crash to determine whether or not charges will be filed against any of the drivers involved. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
