Nyrik Anderson Killed, Bryant Colin Arrested after DUI Crash on 215 Freeway [Menifee, CA]

Nyrik Anderson Dead, 3 Injured after Three-Vehicle Crash on 215 Freeway

 
MENIFEE, CA (June 16, 2020) – Authorities identified 26-year-old Nyrik Anderson as the passenger killed in a DUI crash on 215 Freeway, Tuesday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 8:38 PM. 24-year-old Bryant Martinez Colin of Murrieta drove his 2014 Toyota Tacoma at a high rate of speed and failed to stop for the stopped traffic ahead.
 
Then, the Toyota slammed into the rear of a 2004 Honda Accord. The impact of the crash pushed the Honda into the rear of a 2017 Ford Fusion.
 
Emergency crews transported the Honda driver, identified as a 22-year-old Menifee woman, and her passenger, Anderson, to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar. Unfortunately, Anderson was pronounced dead at 10:17 PM.
 
As per reports, Colin had a 7-month-old boy as his passenger. Medics transported the infant to Rancho Springs Medical Center in Murrieta with minor injuries.
 
Meanwhile, the Ford driver did not sustain injuries.
 
Responding officers also transported Colin to a hospital with minor injuries. They later arrested Colin on suspicion of murder, vehicular manslaughter, child endangerment, DUI with injury, and driving on a suspended license. He was being held at Cois Byrd Detention Center on $1 million bail.
